Grade 12 students from any of the following Vancouver secondary schools who have been admitted to The University of British Columbia are eligible for the Tom and Phyllis Veazey  Scholarship:

Britannia Community
Gladstone
John Oliver
Killarney
King George
Sir Charles Tupper
Sir Winston Churchill
Templeton
Vancouver Technical.

The Scholarship is awarded to a student who has:

a)  been nominated by his or her school;

b)  demonstrated outstanding academic achievement;

c)  been a leader in his or her school and community activities; and

d)  demonstrated the promise of using his or her education to make a positive difference in the lives of others, as did Tom and Phyllis Veazey in the lives of their students.
